Few Catchers and Dooars were sold at last levels. Around 44.62 percent of the total quantity was sold at above Rs 250 per kg. A total of 14,49,960 kg of different categories was sold at an average price of Rs 230.00 per kg. There was weak demand for this week's CTC offerings. The demand for different categories of teas was slightly lower during Sale 28 held on July 12 and 13, 2022.Īccording to Calcutta Tea Traders Association (CTTA) officials, the total offerings were 1,31,887 packages, comprising 63,580 packages of CTC, 41,886 packages of Orthodox, 3,842 packages of Darjeeling leaf, and 22,579 packages of Dust teas.
